Fur Commpany (Minnesota Historical Society or maybe this was his son Albert). STILLWATER GAZETTE AGUUST 20, 1902 SERIOUS CHARGE MADE ALBERT SCHLUSSLER IS ACCUSED OF CRIMINAL ASSAULT UPON SISTER OF HIS WIFE. Albert Schlussler, a farmer living near Grey Cloud Island, was arrested last week by Deputy Sheriff Fazendin and brought to this city on a charge of criminal assault upon Ida Wallgate on April 5. He is in the custody of the sheriff and was allowwed the use of the court room to rest and receive some callers. The complaining witness is a sister of the wife of Schluser. She is now at the poor farm in a delicaate condition. She formerly worked at the home of A.M. Cree of St. Paul Park. Schlussler has a wife and 4 young children. He is and industrious farmer of moderate means. Herbert Ames and Archie McDonald, his neighbors, were here to see him. They declare that the man is innocent and were willing to do his bail of $500. Judge Doe of the municipal court cannot admit to bail such cases. SO. ST. PAUL DAILY REPORTER, AUGUST 14, 1931 August 17, 1931 SCHLUSSLER RITES TO BE HELD SUNDAY IN ST. PAULUS CHURCH -------------------------------------------- Funeral services for Albert Schlussler, Sr., 61 years old, who died at the West Side General hospital Wednesday evening, will be held from the familuy home at 439 Sixteenth avenue north, Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and from the St. Paulus Lutheran Church at 3:00 o'clock. Burial will be made in the General Lutheran Cem., Rev. E. C. Schlutz of Riverview will conduct the service in the absence of Rev. R. C. Ackermann, pastor. Surviving Mr. Schlussler are his widow, Mrs. Jessie Schlussler, three daughters, Mrs. William Zuehl and Mildred and Irene Schlussler and seven sons, Albert and William of Rich Valley, and James, Robert, Thomas, Phillip and Theodore, all living in this city. He is alSo. Survived by seven sisters and three brothers. Mr. Schlussler had lived in this city for fourteen years. During his residence here he was employed as custodian of the Schult building. He had been suffering from a complication of diseases for three months and became seriously ill several days ago at which time he was taken to the hospital for treatment. SO. ST. PAUL DAILY REPORTER AUGUST 17, 1931 Funeral services for Albert Schlussler, Sr., of South Park who died at the West Side General hospital Thursday from a complication of diseases, were held from the late home Sunday afternoon at 2:30 O'clock. Burial was made in the General Lutheran Cem., Rev. E. Schultz of Riverview conducted the services in the absence of Tev. R. C.
