He married the single Anna Maria Bien, who was from the village Meinitz in the nearby Leisnig parish, on the 23rd of January 1777 in the Lutheran church in Seifersdorf. (H8)

Death:
He died at 9 p.m. on the 10th of January 1803 in Meinitz. He died of Flußfieber. He was buried in the cemetery in Leisnig three days later. He was 57 years old. He left behind his wife and a married daughter. (H2)
