4. The archivist Mr Schmitz could not find a wedding record of a Mr Lahmeier and a woman named Metti in the Barrien parish.
5. There were "Lameier" farms in Syke in 1678 (from "Hann. 74 Syke Nr. 37" in the civic archive in Hannover). There was a Lüdeke Lahmeier and a Johan Lahmeier.

I was reseaching the pair. Re. your comments: 3. There are at least two other children by the pair, they were baptized under the name of Lahmeyer: Thölke, 1750 and Anne Thrine, 1753. There are Lahmeyer children before the marriage, the fathers name is Thölke (no mentioning of the mother, so unsure whether these are children from the first marriage). |
