Emigrant Martin Send aus Weinähr Martin Send wurde im Jahr 1821 in Weinähr geboren und ist der erste Send aus Weinähr, der in die USA ausgewandert ist. (Linie Matthias Send 1650 – 1711) Martin ist der Sohn von Lorenz und Anne Marie Hombach und ist der Urenkel von Johann Melchior (1729 - 1772) und Juliane Lung (1723 -1772). Er hat in Jahr 1853 Frau Anne Margarethe Meisler geheiratet (zweite Frau). Von der ersten Ehe liegen uns keine Informationen vor. Das erste Kind wurde im Jahr 1854 geboren und Anton genannt. In der USA wurde später aus dem Namen Anton, Anthony John. Martin und Anna Margarethe wanderten 1854 über Antwerpen nach der USA aus. Ankunft New York, am 19.12.1854, zusammen mit den Eltern von Anna Margarethe und deren Geschwistern. Mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit war die Familie Meisler, die diese Reise geplant hatten. |
