MRS. ADELAIDE BLAIR CONCORD - Mrs. Adelaide Cannon Blair, 94, of Concord and formerly of Washington D.C., died Friday night in Cabarrus Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Blair was born in Cabarrus County Aug. 2, 1878, a daughter of James W. and Mary Ella Bost Cannon. She is the sister of the late Charles A. Cannon, and a member of First Presbyterian Church, Concord. Surviving are one son, J. B. Douglas of Santa Barbara, Calif.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Mary C. Hill of Winston-Salem, and Mrs. C. D. S. Clarkson of Atlanta, Ga. Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in First Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Jeffrey Wampler. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Concord. The body was taken to the home of a niece today where itwill remain until the hour of the funeral. |
