Couple Wed For 50 Years
Mr. and Mrs. William F. Kolinski celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday at St. Peter's Catholic Church.
The Rev. Chester Zielinski celebrated the noon mass and Patti Eskritt and Brett Kolinski, grandchildren of the couple, presented the water and wine at the offertory.
The former Isabelle Nowak wed William F. Kolinski at St. Peter's Catholic Church Sept. 1, 1920. Attendants were Marcella Nowak, maid of honor and Mrs. Alex Morton, bridesmaid, both sisters of the bride, and Mrs. Mayme Jurgella, flower girl, the groom's sister. All were present at the service Sunday. Roman Bukolt, now deceased, was best man.
The couple has four children: Mrs. Gilbert (Grace) Habeck and Mrs. Edwin (Eleanore) Eskritt, both of Wisconsin Rapids and Stanley Kolinski, 1732 Church St. and William Kolinski, Jr., 1257 Portage St. The Kolinskis have 13 grandchildren.
A reception was given by the couple's children at the home of William Kolinski, Jr., followed by a dinner in the Coral Room of the Hot Fish Shop.
For the reception and dinner Mrs. Kolinski wore a beige brocade dress with a corsage of yellow carnations.
Guests attended from Wisconsin Rapids, Madison and Stevens Point.
Mr. Kolinski is retired after 30 years at Lullabye Furniture co. in Stevens Point, and five years as superintendent of Kingsley Furniture, LaPorte.

Kolinski services
Funeral services for William F. Kolinski, 76, 825 1st St., will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Peter's Catholic Church. The Rev. Chester Zielinski will officiate. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Friends may call today at the Dzikoski Funeral home. The Holy Name Society of St. Peter's Church, of which he was a charter member, and St. John's Court, Catholic Order of Foresters, will join in praying the general rosary at 7:30 p.m.
A memorial has been established in his name.
He was born April 18, 1898, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Anton Kolinski. He attended St. Peter's School and married Isabelle Nowak on Sept. 1, 1920 at St. Peter's Church.
He was a supervisor at Lullabye Furniture Co. until 1955, when he moved to La Porte, Ind., where he was a supervisor for Kingsley Furniture for five years.
Mr. Kolinski returned to Stevens Point and was employed as a part time bartender at Unique Bar, 1221 3rd St. He also collected beer cans as a hobby.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Stanley, 1732 Church St., and William Jr., 1257 Portage St.; two daughters, Mrs. Gilbert (Grace) Habeck and Mrs. Edwin (Elenore) Eskrit, both of Wisconsin Rapids; two brothers, Chester, Dodgeville, and Frank, Los Angeles, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Mayme Jurgella, 731 Smith St. and Mrs. Evelyn Kowalski, 310 3rd St.; and 12 grandchildren.
Two brothers preceded him in death.
