Double Ring Rites Unite Miss Brock, Robert Wayerski
A double ring ceremony performed at St. Wenceslaus Catholic church at Miladore, united in marriage Miss Bernadine B. Brock and Robert Wayerski.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Brock and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wayerski, all of Junction City, Route 1, repeated their vows last Thursday morning at 9 o'clock after Rev. Joseph Splinter.
The bride who was given in marriage by her father, was attired in a gown of white lace and net over shimmering satin. Her long sleeved bodice of lace featured a portrait collar and yoke of net while a freely gathered net skirt fell into a long train.
Her veil of imported illusion, studded with lace appliques, was attached to a rhinestone and pearl tiara. She carried a cascade bouquet of red roses, centered with a white orchid.
The bride's attendants wore identically styled gowns of lace and net over taffeta. Separate jackets of lace, worn over lace bodices, had matching lace peplums falling over their fully gathered net skirts. Matching gauntlets and petal caps completed their ensembles. They carried cascade arrangements of flowers.
Miss Theresa Wayerski, the bridegroom's sister, served as maid of honor in a blue gown, against which she carried yellow carnations. The bridesmaids were Mrs. William Voight in a shrimp colored gown with white carnations and Miss Lurae Pelterie, Watertown, cousin of the bride, in Nile green with pink carnations.
Little Judy Voight, Wisconsin Rapids, was her aunt's flower girl in a frock of blue net over taffeta. She wore a matching bonnet and carried a bouquet of pink and white carnations, combined with baby roses. Billy Voight, the bride's nephew, carried the rings on a heart shaped pillow.
The bridegroom chose William Voight, the bride's brother-in-law, for his best man, and his own brother, James Wayerski, and the bride's brother, Harlan Brock, for his groomsmen. Ushering were Anthony Brock and John Wayerski, brothers of the couple.
The church basement was the scene of a breakfast served the bridal party and of a dinner supper for 300 invited guests. The newlyweds greeted friends and relatives at a reception at the home of the bride's parents.
After returning from a honeymoon in Milwaukee, the couple will begin housekeeping at 1350 Fremont street, Wisconsin Rapids. The bridegroom, who attended Junction City schools, is engaged in construction work at the Consolidated Water Power and Paper company at Wisconsin Rapids. His bride, who attended school at Milladore and was graduated from the Auburndale High school and St. Joseph's School of Nursing in Marshfield, will be employed at Riverview hospital in the Rapids.
Guests attended the wedding from Stevens Point, Wisconsin Rapids, Marshfield, Kaukauna, Appleton, Watertown, Pittsville, Dancy, Chicago, Wausau and Auburndale.
