Mrs. Marian Okray
Mrs. Marian Okray died Friday afternoon at 3:15 at St. Michael's Hospital, where she had been a patient since May 12.
Mrs. Okray, 83, lived with a son, Ernest, 2024 Lincoln Ave., until entering the hospital. Before that, she was a resident of the Town of Carson form many years.
She was the widow of Paul Okray, who died February 20, 1954.
Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Joseph's Catholic church and burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dzikoski Funeral Home after 10 a.m. Sunday. A general rosary will be said there Sunday night at 7, and St. Ann's Society, of which Mrs. Okray was a member, will recite the rosary at 8.
Mrs. Okray was the former Marian Borski. She was born in Oshkosh March 20, 1883, and when she was two she moved to Chicago with her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Valentine Borski. She attended school there and then as a girl, moved to the Junction City area in the town of Eau Pleine.
On Jan. 12, 1904, she married Mr. Okray at St. Michael's Catholic church in Junction City.
They lived in Stevens Point for a short time and then moved to a farm in Carson. After her husband' s death, Mrs. Okray continued living there until coming to Stevens Point, WI six months ago.
Surviving are three sons, Frank, Town of Linwood; George, Town of Carson; and Ernest; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Agnes Schelke, 1757 Water St.
A son who died in infancy, a daughter and two brothers preceded her in death.
