Margaret Lenhoff was born on Dec 19th, 1893 at Wasua, Nebraska, the daughter of Peter and Mary Unkrur Lenhoff. Her parents were both born in Germany, and had come to the United States in early life.

Margaret married Anton Heim, the son of Franz and Elizabeth Ziegenfuss Heim, on June 9th, 1914 at St. Thomas Church, in Faulkton. Her brother, Clarence, and Anton's niece, Mary Heim, stood up. Anton and Margaret farmed near Faulkton in Lafoon Township. Mary Lenhoff died in 1922, and Margaret helped mother her younger siblings. Margaret Lenhoff died on May 1st, 1930 at Faulkton, following childbirth.

She was surived by her husband, nine children. The children of Anton and Margaret Lenhoff Heim were:

Lawrence married Elizabeth Mack, the daughter of Charles and Anna Mack. They had two sons, Larry and Richard. They lived in Watertown, SD.

Margaret married Jimmie Taylor, and later married Murray Lauritzen. Margaret had four sons and three daughters. Her family moved to Utah in 1964, and Marge lived in Colorado later in life.

Ignatius married Myrn Sparling, the daughter of Charles and Anna Lapke Sparling. Naish and Myrn raised buffalo near Rockham, SD and had two daughters and four sons.

Vernon married Agnes Lavery, the daughter of James and Mary Mack Lavery. They had six sons and five daughters, farming at the Goodwin-Kranzburg area in South Dakota.

Rita married Gaylon Armstrong. They had 11 children and farmed near Ashton. In retirement, they moved to Aberdeen, SD.

Elizabeth married Robert McDermaid. They lived near Huron, SD and had ten children- two died in childhood.

Donna married Wendlin Baumgartner. They lived at Rapid City, SD and had 17 children.

Marcella married Bruce Keller, the son of James and Anna Larson Keller. They farmed near Ashton, and Sally served as the community Postmistress for several years. Sally and Bruce had 6 children.

Joseph married Lois Groos, the daughter of John and Martha Reith Groos. They had three children and farmed near Colman, SD. Lois passed away in 1975, and later in life, Joseph married Geri Bening.
