James Albert Perry, Jr., 67, of 260 Sweetwater Road, died Thursday, January 14, 2010, at the McCall Hospice House. Born in Rochester, N.Y., he was the son of the late James Albert Perry, Sr. and Catherine Johnston Beisheim. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and worked as an IT technician. Mr. Perry was a member of the NRA and enjoyed collecting guns. Surviving are his stepfather, Richard A. Beisheim; a son, Robert J. Perry and fiancee Barbara Stevens; three daughters, Cathy P. Hendrix and fiance Wade Stilton, Anne Marie Perry, and Julie A. Berry and husband Timothy; four sisters, Jamie E. Perry, Judith A. Fertitta and husband Nicholas, Linda M. Brooks, and Jeanie P. Thornton; nine grandchildren, Alicia Hendrix, Andrew Hendrix and fiancee Haven Whitmire, Rhianna Perry, Heather Perry, Jessica Berry, Josh Berry, Hope Perry, Ryan Berry, and P.J. Berry; and two great-grandchildren, Riley Hendrix and Mason Keller. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Jane Marie Perry; and a son, David L. Perry. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Fletcher Funeral Service with Pastor Tom Ross officiating. Burial will follow in Cannon Memorial Park. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
