Kenneth (Ken) Barton Lane Sr. was born March 13, 1928 and passed away on Monday January 16, 2017, he was 88 years old. Ken moved to the Lodi area as a child and remained in Lodi and raised his family with his wife of 62 years, Pat Lane. Ken was a hard worker; he retired from General Mills as a Mechanic after 40 years and then also worked for F&M Bank as a Mailroom Supervisor for an additional 15+ years. He will be remembered most for his perfect handlebar mustache. Ken enjoyed going on long drives with his wife and their many dachshunds over the years. They frequently attended Hot August Nights in Reno annually for their anniversary celebration and had many family vacations in South Lake Tahoe. Ken would do anything for his family, he will be sorely missed. Kenneth is survived by his wife, son, daughter, and grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son, Kenneth "Dusty" Lane and daughter-in-law, Nellie Lane; his parents Lloyd and Helen Lane; siblings Edith Wilson and Laurence Lane. Visitation will be held from 9am to 3pm, Saturday, January 21st at Donahue Funeral Home located at 123 N School St, Lodi, CA Funeral Services will be held at 12:00pm; Monday, January 23rd in the Mausoleum at Lodi Memorial Park & Cemetery, located at 5750 E Pine St, Lodi, CA.
