Doopboek Aschendorf, 1868, St. Amandus, pagina 123 nummer 6. Scan nummer 62. Doopouders: xxxxx Weseln, Herbrum en Anna Maria Sanders, Herbrum. Minnesota Census 1910, (Minnesota State Census) komt hij voor als "HenryTraverse". Eerdere census als "Henry Turver". Op 30 april 1884 komt hij aan in New York vanuit Bremen met het schip "Weser" (of "Wersa"). Amerikaans paspoort uitgegeven op 29 november 1889. Hij is mogelijk de H. Terveer die genoemd wordt in "Het nieuws van den dag: kleine courant" van 4 maart 1890. Hierin is een passagierslijst afgedrukt van het schip "St. Obdam" met kapitein G. Bakker dat op 1 maart 1890 van Rotterdam naar New York vaart. Obituary Winona Republican-Herald 22 april 1926:

Henry Terveer, the son of Bernard and Susanna Behrens Terveer was born january 9, 1863 in Aschendorf, Hanover Germany. He was the sixthe child in a family of seven. His three sisters have predeceased him. At the age of 15 he came to America and located at Dressbach to be near his older brother Bernard. After working on farms at Pine Creek and Ridgeway for a few years he went to work at the Toledo Woolen mills at La Cresent, where he worked for five years. In the winter of 1890-91 he went to visit his parents and relatives in Germany. The following autum he went to Dover and worked on farms there until the spring of 1893. March 22 1893 he was married at Winona, Minn. to Leila Ann Eberhard of Mound Prairie, Minn. He worked the first summer for Herome Ketcham and for the next four years rented the Batry farm north of Dover. On September 118, 1897 he moved to Troy and settled on the farm wich he had bought of P.H. Williams. Year by year he improved it. in 1913 building the modern farm home wich now stands a monument to his memory. He was for years clerk of the Troy school board and a directot of the Saratoga creamery association. For the past few years being vice president of that organisation. For 30 years he was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters and for the past 14 years a member or the E.F.U. lodge. He passed away April 15, following a heart attack, just seven months after the death of his son, Willie. Funeral services where conducted at the Catholic church at St. Charles on April 17 and interment made in the family lot at Saratoga. He leaves to morn his departure his wife, Mrs Leila Terveer, his daughter Mrs Ray Frisby, his sons, Cecil and Clarence all residing at the home plave, his brother John Terveer of Everson, Wash. and Herman Terveer at the old home in Germany, many other relatives and scores of friends and neighbors.
