Notizen zu dieser Person
This family lived in Cincinnati City, not in Brown County. This does not seem to be the family for which I have photos of "Finks in Brown County."
1910 US Census
Albert and Louise, both 25, live at 913 Dayton St,, Cincinnati, Ohio, with their two young daughters, Dorothy, 2, and Mildred, 1. They rent an apartment in a multi-family dwelling. Albert is an electrician at an electric company. We learn from his WWII Draft registration laterr that he owns his own company but at this point he is listed as a wage earner so he presumably works for someone else.
1920 US Census
Albert and Louise, now 35, have moved to 3015 Cleenview St., Cinty. They now own their ownhome free of mortgage. Albert owns an electrical parts dealership and they seem to be doing well financially They have added a son, 5 year old Albert Jr.. Dorothy, 12, and Mildred, 11, are attending school. We note that Louise's parents were born in Germany.
1930 US Census
Albert and Louise, here listed as 43 years old (not correct) and married for 21 years (also not correct) are still living in their morthage free home, valued at $9000, on Cleinview Ave. in Cincinnati, same dwelling as last census. Their three children dwell within. Dorothy, 22, and MIldred, 21, attended school, presumably college, and Albert, 16, also in school, most likely high school. Albert Sr. is listed as an electrical contractor with his own business,
1940 US Census
Albert is listed as 54, Louise as 55. They now live at 6226 Orchard Lane, Cinty with their daughter, Dorothy, now 32 and single. Albert is still an electrical contractor. No occupation is listed for Louise or Dorothy. The home is valued at $19,000 and is one of the most expensive in the neighborhood. Albert earned $5000the last year. The 1940 dollar is equivalent to about $18 today, so this translates into a salary of about $90k in today's dollars, They lived in the same house in 1935.
DeathRecord
Must pay for actual certificate. Does not have reference to volume #, etc. Lists Albert as married which implies that Louise is still living.
