Notes for this person
A farmer most of his life. Did spend a few of his years as a welder and worked on Wheatfield area NIPSCO plant. He enjoyed playing cards with neighbors such as Ted Peterson when he first lived in Illinois. In Indiana he enjoyed playing cards with Jim Berenda, Frank Berenda, "Spud" Prohosky,Ed Berenda and Joe Berenda. Dad enjoyed playing horeseshoes especially at family get togethers. Dad used toenjoy fishing with Uncle Ralph Schultz and he even made his own fishing boat once. When he retired from farming he enjoyed gardening and small fruit patch.
