Notes for this person
Edith, 87, Ottawa, died at 4:20 p.m., at Bridge Hospice of Findlay. She was the daughter of Luther and Elizabeth (Bauman) Aldrich. On Mar 2, 1946, she married Melvin H. Lammers, who preceded her in death. Surviving are two sons: Ronald (Jane) and Bill, both Ottawa; two daughters: Diane Mershman, Ottawa, and Joyce Lammers, Ketchikan, AK; a brother, Luther (Bonnie), Lafayette, a sister, Shirley (Gary) Adams, Elida; and nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Deceased are a son, Jimmy Dale; and two sisters: Gladys Martin, and Carol Tuttle. Retired from Phillips, Ottawa, she was a lifetime member of the Ottawa VFW auxiliary, a member of the Ottawa Eagles auxiliary, and was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Columbus Grove, with Rev. Tom Extejt officiating.
