AR, fa b. Germany, mo b. IN, speak English, Laborer, on farm, workernyvale, CA, 15 Jan 1999 !OCCUPATION: was a farmer; moved back to the family farm after death of father and youngest sister married; mother lived with them. !SOCIAL SECURITY: 432-10-3894 ! Information from WFT, disk/Vol. 5, Pedigree 2518 gives b. date, estimates d. date, no children listed; info probably submitted by Patricia AHLF MITCHELL and/or Roger MITCHELL before 1997. ~Robert went by Marvin most of his life. According to his sister, Minnie, he was a destructive little boy who always blamed his sisters for things he did. He and his family lived much of their life on the home place. After Thomas died, two rooms of the house were converted into an apartment for Marvin's mother. One of Marvin's sons, Tom (T.J.) went to California then Oregon as a teenager, and never returned. When the children were all raised and gone, Marvin sold the family farm in 1959 and became a Methodist minister. !TO DO: check census for wife's family if possible.
