John Rocky. Last Will and Testament, 11 Feb 1842

In the name of God Amen, I John Rocky of the Township of Buf-
faloe county of Union & State of Pennsylvania, being weakly in bodily health but
of sound mind, and good memory (thanks be to God for the same) do make and
publish this my last Will and testament, hereby revoking and making void
all former wills be me at any time made heretofore "And first I disect that my
body be decently intered in the burying ground of the Church whereunto I belong,
And as touching worldly estate wherewith it has pleased God to entrust me
with" I dispose of the same as follows

Item, I direct and order that all my lawful debts be paid as soon as may
be convenient, after my disease,

Item I order that all my real estate shall be sold by my executors after my
disease, to the best advantage they can, either by publick, or private sale, and
I hereby authorise, and empower them to make a Deed to the purchaser, which
shall be as good, and as valid as if I had done it myself"

Item " I order that all my personal estate, that I shall leave at my disease,
shall be sold by publick sale, as soon as may be convenient"

Item " I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Elisabeth, the corner cupboard
now standing in my front room, with all the ware and contents that now is
in the same, and six of the best chairs, together with a rocking chair, and
a large dining table, for her, to her own use"

Item " I order, that the nett produce, of my estate real, and personal, above
ordered, and directed to be sold, shall be divided equally, in shares alike
to all my children, they shall all have shares alike, that is after all my law
ful Debts are paid, and as soon as the same can be done,

Item " I order that my executors shall, give unto my Daughter Mary, one
dining table equal to that of Elisabeth's, and a Dough trough table, one bed
stead, and a corner cupboard equal to that of Elisabeths, and also six chairs,
and a rocking chair equal to the same"

And lastly I do hereby make and ordain my Son John, and my neighbor John
Schrack, executors of this my last Will, and testament & In witness whereof I
John Rocky the testator have to this my will written on one page, set my hand and
seal, this eleventh day of February one thousand eight hundred and forty two,
