"I, ....., do solemnly & sincerely promise & declare that I will be true & faithful to King George the Second and do solemnly sincerely and truly Profess Testifie & Declare that I do from my Heart abhor, detest & renounce as impious & heretical that wicked Doctrine & Position that Princes Excommunicated or deprived by the Pope or any Authority of the See of Rome may be deposed or murthered by their Subjects or any other whatsoever. And I do declare that no Forreign Prince Person Prelate State or Potentate hath or ought to have any Power Jurisdiction Superiority Preeminence or Authority Ecclesiastical or Spiritual within the Realm of Great Britain or the Dominions thereunto belonging.

"I, ....., do solemnly sincerely and truly acknowledge profess testify & declare that King George the Second is lawful & rightful King of the Realm of Great Britain & of all others his Dominions & Countries thereunto belonging, And I do solemnly & sincerely declare that I do believe the Person pretending to be Prince of Wales during the Life of the late King James, and since his Decease pretending to be & taking upon himself the Stile & Title of King of England by the Name of James the third, or of Scotland by the Name of James the Eighth or the Stile & Title of King of Great Britain hath not any Right or Title whatsoever to the Crown of the Realm of Great Britain, nor any other the Dominions thereunto belonging. And I will be true & faithful to the Succession of the Crown against him the said James & all other Persons whatsoever as the same is & stands settled by An Act Entituled An Act declaring the Rights & Liberties of the Subject & settling the Succession of the Crown to the late Queen Anne & the Heirs of her Body being Protestants, and as the same by one other Act Entituled An Act for the further Limitation of the Crown & better securing the Rights & Liberties of the subject is & stands settled & entailed after the Decease of the said late Queen, & for Default of Issue of the said late Queen, to the late Princess Sophia Electoress & Dutchess Dowager of Hannover & the Heirs of her Body being Protestants; and all these things I do plainly & sincerely acknowledge promise & declare according to these express Words by me spoken & according to the plain & common Sense and understanding of the same Words, without any Equivocation mental Evasion or secret Reservation whatsoever. IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN

I Philip Rockey of Sadsbury Township, County of Lancaster and State of Pennsylvania being weak of Body, but of sound and perfect mind and memory, blessed be god for the same, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament, in manner and Form following, principally & first of all I Recommend my sole to god who give it me, hoping through the merits of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the same shall Receive eternal happiness. And as touching such worldly Estate, as it hath pleased god to bless me with in this life, I give, and dispose of in the following manner VIZ first of all I allow all my just debts and Funeral Charges to be paid & discharged, Secondly I give and bequeath unto my beloved Wife Mary Rockey, the House where I now live, and the clock, & stove, and firewood hauled to the door, and that part of the garing I formerly occupied and a horse & cow, kept, summer & winter for her use, & one hundred & fifty weight of good pork, and one barrel of cider, annually, and five bushels, of keeping apples, & as many as she may choose for house use, annually, and one peck of flaxseed sowed & made ready for spinning annually & what kitchen furniture she may choose, and one Feather bed, and furniture, such as she may choose, and forty Dollars in specie of the United States annually, and if my Wife Mary Rockey should choose to leave & give up the above Privileges, then and in that case she is to have Sixty Six Dollars & Sixty Seven cents, out of my Plantation annually during her Natural Life, And after the Decease of Mary my Wife 3 By I will and Devise unto my son Jacob Rockey, all my Plantation where I now live, 4 by I will and bequeath, Unto my son Peter Rockey, five hundred thirty & three Dollars & thirty three cents, 5 by I will and bequeath, unto my Daughter Elizabeth Ritz, five hundred thirty & three Dollars thirty three cents. And one year after my Wife Mary Decease I order and my will is that my son Jacob Rockey pay unto my son Peter Rockey, the sum of one hundred thirty three Dollars, & thirty three cents, every other year until the said 533 Dollars & 33 cents, be paid off, and the second year after my wife Mary decease I order and my will is that my son Jacob Rockey, pay Unto my Daughter Elizabeth Ritz, the sum of one hundred thirty three Dollars, and thirty three cents, every other year until the said 533 Dollars & 33 cents be paid off, And after my Decease, I order and my Will is, that my Executors make sale of all my Personal Estate, & the money arising there from to be put to Interest in one year after my Decease, and more over, I order and my Will is that a sum of eighty Dollars be put to Interest in case the horse or cow Should die, & in that case, my Executors are to purchase others out of the Said eighty Dollars. Also I order and my Will is that the money that is now out at Interest, and the money that will be put to Interest, be Divided into three equal shares between my two sons and daughter, and that each of them may have their share if they choose, one giving their obligation, for the payment of the said eighty Dollars and legal Interest, and Furthermore I order and my Will is my Wife Mary be paid the sum of thirteen Dollars, & thirty three cents annually out of the Interest money. And after the Decease of Mary my wife I order and my Will is, that the horse, and the cow, the Clock, and Stove, be Sold, and the money arising there from and the eighty Dollars and Interest, if any there be, all put together, and the same to be Equally divided between my two sons, & daughter Elizabeth Ritz. And lastly I Constitute, and appoint Jacob Baughman of Bart Township, & County of Lancaster, and Henry Pickel of the Township, & County aforesaid to be my whole and Sole Executors to this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking, & Disannulling, all former Wills and Testaments by me made, Ratifying & Confirming, this & no other, to be my last Will and Testament. In Witness where of I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this nineteenth Day of February one Thousand eight hundred

Lancaster County Pa On the 28th day of March Anno Domini 1809 Before me the Subscriber personally appeared Nathan Thompson and Jacob Kerns two of the subscribing witnesses to the within will, the said Nathan Thompson upon his solemn oath taken by uplifted hand and the said Jacob Kerns upon his solemn affirmation according to Law did declare and say that they were present and saw and heard Philip Rockey the Testator therein named signed seal publish pronounce and declare the within writing as and for his last Will and Testament, and that at the doing thereof, He was of sound and well disposing mind memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge observation & belief

Be it Remembered That on the 28th day of March Anno Domini 1809. The last Will & Testament of Philip Rockey deceased was proved in due form of Law and Letters Testamentary thereon were granted to Henry Pickel one of the Executors therein named (Jacob Baughman the other Executor therein also named being dead) He having first been duly qualified well and truly to Administer the Estate of the said deceased, especially to exhibit a true and perfect Inventory thereof into the Registers Office at Lancaster within one month from this date and to render a true and just Account of his Executors kept on said Estate in one year or when thereto legally required given under the Seal of said office
