They [John G Leech & Maria Rockey]
were married in this county in 1820, and located in
Sadsbury township, where the father [John G Leech] followed the
butcher business until he purchased the family home
in Bart township in 1840. This farm he greatly im-
proved, building himself a stone house and a fine barn,
and there he remained until his death in 1869. His
widow made her home with her son, John F., until
her death in 1890.
