... George [George Egbert Trout 1913-1995] stated on multiple occasions that he believed Maria Elizabeth TRAUT had married close-by-neighbor Henry ROCKE in 1762. This seems to be directly reinforced by the following passage:
1762 - Jacob Brua, executor of Wendel’s will [Johann Wendel Georg Traut 1689-1760],
petitions the Court to appoint the orphaned children’s uncle, Henry Rockey,
as guardian for Mary Barbara 4, and sisters Catherine and Mary, both under 14.
Also, Wendel, II, 19, chooses Henry Rockey as his guardian.
Henrick Casper Racke (Rockey) had married Maria Elisabetha Traut
(from Wendel’s first marriage) in 1762. The Rockeys lived in nearby Bart Township.

While some of the ages are not correct (perhaps they were hard to read), these were the correct children orphaned by Wendel and 2nd wife Magdalena's deaths, and Maria Elizabetha having married Henry Rocke would make Henry their uncle as stated, and also a logical choice as a potential guardian.
