Krug, 71, retired grocer, died at his home 164 East NinthStreet, at 6 p.m. Friday after an illness of seven years. He had ownedand operated a grocery store on Ellis Street for about 15 years. Born in the Town of Forest July 15, 1874, he was married to Amanda LydiaWitthuhn on February 25, 1909, the couple living on a farm in the Town ofForest for eight years before moving to the Town of Empire. For the last26 years he has resided in Fond du Lac. Mrs. Krug died July 31, 1939. Surviving are two sons, Reinhold of this city, and Pfc. Roy Krug onJapan; two daughters, Mabel and Marcella of Fond du Lac, and fourgrandchildren, Robert, James, Catherine and Gerald Krug, all of this city. The body was removed to the family residence today, funeral services tobe held there at 1:30 p.m. Monday and at 2 p.m. at St. Peter's LutheranChurch, of which Mr. Krug was a member. The Rev. Gerhard Pieper willofficiate and interment will be in Forest Cemetery. Commonwealth Reporter - Dated: 10-9-1945 Funeral services for Henry J. Krug, who died Friday, were held at 1:30p.m. Monday at the residence, 164 East Ninth Street, and at 2 p.m. at St.Peter's Lutheran Church, the Rev. Gerhard Pieper officiating. Buria wasat Forest Cemetery. Pallbearers were Otto Krug, William Krug, Henry Kind, Frank Kind, WilfordImmel, William Immel, all nephews of Mr. Krug.
