Reitz OBITUARY - Commonwealth Reporter, Fond du Lac, WI - Dated: 10-6-1945 HENRY J. KRUG, RETIRED GROCER, EXPIRES AT 71 Death Ends Long Illness; Services To Be Held At St. Peter's Henry J. Krug, 71, retired grocer, died at his home 164 East NinthStreet, at 6 p.m. Friday after an illness of seven years. He had ownedand operated a grocery store on Ellis Street for about 15 years. Born in the Town of Forest July 15, 1874, he was married to Amanda LydiaWitthuhn on February 25, 1909, the couple living on a farm in the Town ofForest for eight years before moving to the Town of Empire. For the last26 years he has resided in Fond du Lac. Mrs. Krug died July 31, 1939. Surviving are two sons, Reinhold of this city, and Pfc. Roy Krug onJapan; two daughters, Mabel and Marcella of Fond du Lac, and fourgrandchildren, Robert, James, Catherine and Gerald Krug, all of this city. The body was removed to the family residence today, funeral services tobe held there at 1:30 p.m. Monday and at 2 p.m. at St. Peter's LutheranChurch, of which Mr. Krug was a member. The Rev. Gerhard Pieper willofficiate and interment will be in Forest Cemetery. Commonwealth Reporter - Dated: 10-9-1945 Funeral services for Henry J. Krug, who died Friday, were held at 1:30p.m. Monday at the residence, 164 East Ninth Street, and at 2 p.m. at St.Peter's Lutheran Church, the Rev. Gerhard Pieper officiating. Buria wasat Forest Cemetery. Pallbearers were Otto Krug, William Krug, Henry Kind, Frank Kind, WilfordImmel, William Immel, all nephews of Mr. Krug. Persons attending the services included Mr. and Mrs. George Witthuhn andson, Carl, Nany McGillivary of Seymour, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Spoehr, Mr.and Mrs. William Spoehr, Wilford Spoehr and Mr. and Mrs. William SpoehrJr., of Shiocton, Mrs. Antonia Immel, Henry Witthuhn and son Harold, Mrs.Tillie Liecky and Mrs. Lemke of Appleton, Mr. and Mrs. George Barth ofBlack Creek, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kind of Van Dyne, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kind of Oshkosh, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Dalke anddaughter, Lois of Black Creek, Mrs. John Ort of Appleton; Mrs. JackStrick of Little Chute and Mr. and Mrs. William Immel Jr., and Mr. andMrs. Wilford Immel of Hortonville.
