IMMEL EXPIRES AT HOME IN EMPIRE TOWN Lifelong Resident Of Fond du Lac County Succombs To Brief Illness Frank G. Immel, lifelong resident of Fond du Lac county, died at his homein the Town of Empire at 6:40 p.m. Friday following an illness of threeweeks. Mr. Immel was born April 23, 1863 on the farm which had alwaysbeen his home. He was the son of Joseph and Margaret Immel, who came toAmerica from Germany when this part of the state was still wilderness. On May10, 1899, Mr. Immel was married to Miss Augusta Greinert at Bovina,Outagamie County, and they took up their residence in Empire. His widowwith five children, Milton Immel of Fond du Lac, Mrs. Herbert Miller ofthe Town of Taycheetah, Mrs. C.J. Von Zena of Chicago and Mildred andWilliam at home survive. There are also three grandchildren; threebrothers, Louis, Henry and John W. Immel of this city and four sisters,Mrs. Frank Stroehmer of Fond du Lac, Mrs. Reinhard Breitengross and Mrs.Floyd Showalter of Lind, Washington. The funeral will be held from the Immel farm home at 1:30 p.m. Tuesdayand at 2 p.m. from the Forest M. E. Church with the Rev. John Buryofficiating. Burial will be in the Forest Cemetery.
