From Wessel-Drieling-Kunz family history --
Anna Metta Haar was born Feb 13, 1840, in Berne, Grandduchy, Oldenburg, Germany. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She was married to Johann Herman Drieling (born Jun 11, 1827, in Hude, Grandduchy, Oldenburg, Germany) on Nov 25, 1864, in the church at Hude and lived there until 1870. They then sold all their property and left the old home for far-off American on March 9, 1870. Leaving from Bremenhaven to Baltimore and arrived in Fremont, Nebr. April 1, 1870, in Dodge County, Nebr. where the old neighbors, the Herman Voigt family took them in. Here they found most of their old neighbors again and so acquired a homestead of 80 acres. They built a sod house into which they moved Jul 17, 1870, and lived there until 1895 when a new home was built. In 1873 on Jan 15, Mr Drieling passed away, much too soon for his wife and three small children. The climate and hardships of a new country were too much for him and a lung disease took him away. When he died, a definite place for the St Paul's cemetery had to be decided upon. He was the first person buried there, then just an openprairie.
They had three children: Heinrich Gerhard (Henry) and Catherine Margaret, both born in Germany, and Anna Sophie, born in Nebraska.
Mrs Drieling's brother Fred Haar came over fromGermany with them.
On April 29, 1875, the widow Drieling was married to Diedrich L Wessel (born Nov 21, 1840, at Adelheide in Oldenburg, Germany).
They had five children: Hermine Amalie (Minnie), Anna Mathilde (Tillie), Gesine Rebecca, Lousise Johanne, and Diedrich Albert.
They lived their lives on the homestead in thecommunity known as "Section 12" in Cuming Township, Dodge Co. Nebraska. Diedrich passed away Nov 3, 1909. Anna passed away peacefully on Aug 9, 1926, after a few days illness due to old age.

NOTE: Although most information fits including the total list of passengers (Herm Drieling, Metta Drieling, Heinri, Baby, and Friedr Haar) the ages are incorrect (except for F. Haar). Additionally, the auswanderer site has then coming over to New York and listed on a list of passengers. The family history has then coming to Baltimore. Despite checking multiple sites, unable to find any more information except the above (on Ancestry.com) which even though it prints name as Drilling the picture of the page actually shows Drieling.

MRS. D. WESSELCALLED BY DEATH THURSDAY MORNING
Mrs. Anna Metta Wessel, one of the pioneer women of the Oldenburg settlement of north of Hooper, passed away at 10:30 last Thursday morning, August 19, at the farm home of her daughter, Mrs. George Suhr, and Mr. Suhr. Her demise was due to infirmities incident to old age as she had reached the age of 86 years, 6 months, and 6 days. Her passing further thins the ranks of the settlers of long ago much instrumental in bringing this country to a land of plenty. And her death is deeply mourned by a large host offriends who had come to love her in the many years of her residence among them.
As Anna Metta Haar, she was born on February 13, 1840, at Bern, Oldenburg, Germany. There she grew to womanhood and on November 25, 1864, was united in marriage to Herman Drieling. Six years later, she and her family came to America and Dodge county, their arrival here being in April, 1870. They settled on the farm now occupied by her daughter, Mrs. Suhr, and family. In 1873, Mr. Drieling passed away and on April 29, 1875, she became the wife of D. Wessel. This union was broken by the death of Mr. Wessel in 1909. Since then she has made her home with her daughter. In her long residence in the Oldenburg community she was active in its affairs until the infirmities of old age came upon her. She was also afaithful member of the St. Pauls Lutheran Church and took a deep interest in its affairs. She was indeed a lovable Christian woman, a dutiful and devotedwife and mother, and a true friend to all her acquaintances.
Her passing is mourned by seven children, one son and two daughters by her first marriage and fourdaughters by her second marriage. These are Henry Drieling of Scribner, Mrs. Katherine Windhusen of Medical Lake, Wash., Mrs. Sophie Vollers of Concord, Mrs. Hermine Kunz of Scribner, Mrs. Mathilda Koester of Allen, and Mrs. Gesine Suhr and Mrs. Louise Marx of Scribner. There are also 46 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren who mourn her passing.
The funeral of this beloved woman was held Sunday afternoon at the St. Paul’s Church, the pastor, Rev. H. O. Rhode, conducting them, and the edifice was not near large enough to hold the large number of sorrowing friends who attended to pay their last tribute of respect to her memory. Interment was made in the cemetery of the church.
