Heart Attack Fatal To T. Schmeckpeper Rites on Tuesday
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, at 2 o'clock from BethelLutheran church for Theodore H. Schmeckpeper, 47, who passed away at the hospital at Primghar, Saturday, after having suffered a heart attackon Friday. Rev. E. E. Greene had charge of the services, which were directed by the Baumgarten Funeral Home.
Music indued the hymns "Jesus Lover of My Soul" and "Who Knows When Death May Overtake Me" by Mesdames Louis Witt, Ray Olson, Leroy Pingel t and Joe Montgomery. Mrs. Loren Drefke was accompanist.
Pallbearers were Norman Schmeckpeper, Harold Schmeckpeper, Vernon Schmeckpeper, Arnold IBrehmer, Elmer Brehmer and Raymond Brehmer.
Mr. and Mrs. Leon Bobolz and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Fiddelke had charge of the flowers. Interment was in Waterman cemetery.

1903 - 1950
Theodore H. Schmeckpeper, the son of Fred and Doris Schmeckpeper, was born at Thurston, Nebraska, on September 26, 1903. He passed away on December 9, 1950, at Primghar, Iowa, at the age of 47 years, 2 months, and13 days.
He was baptised on October 4, 1903, in the Lutheran church at Pender, Nebraska, by Pastor Gorhle. His boyhood was spent in Nebraska and he attended the Lutheran school in Bloomfield, Nebr., and it was here that hewas confirmed on April 1, 1917, by Pastor Ollenburg.
On January 16, 1929, he was united in marriage to Florence Hetrick at Fontanelle, Nebr. To them were born three children.
"Ted", as he was called by all who knew him, was a farmer all his life,working at this occupation first at Arlington, Nebr., for a year, thenat Fremont, Nebr., for about 12 years, and moving to the Sutherland vicinity in 1943.
He is survived by his wife, Florence; his 3 children: Eleanor (Mrs. Vernelle Kamrath) of Meriden, Donald and Richard, both of Sutherland; onegrandson: Steven Kamrath; 2 sisters: Mrs. Albert Brehmer of Peterson, and Mrs. John Barker of Northwood; and 6 brothers: Fred of Norfolk, Nebr., John of Fremont, Nebr., Henry and Ernest, both of Bloomfield, Nebr ;Charley of Cheyene Wells, Colo.; and Ed of Pender, Nebr.; besides nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
