genannt Hauptmann, erw. seit 1513. 1526 zahlt er 4 Albus Zinsen. Am 03.06.1527 verkaufte die Stadt das Brauhaus in der Altstadt u.a. an Jost. E. und seine Frau Elis.; hierbei wurde sein Bruder Konrad E. genannt. Er zahlt 1543 in der Altstadt 3 Pfund (Gulden?) und 3 1/2 alb. Geschoßgeld. 1553 zahlt dieser 13 Albus Buße, weil er (an einem Sonntag) Mist gefahren hatte. Pate inder Kasseler A. am 21.08.1566 als Heuptmann bei (fehlt) Stallhans. Begründer der Eßkuchschen Stiftung.
