Notes for this person
Came to this country as a widow with 6 children in 1846. Notes indicate that she lived in West Bend, Wisconsin where her brothers had previously settled. Her two sons, Willaim and Andrew were not eighteen years old at that time, and she had to get permission to bring them out of Germany (Army Regulations).
Her eldest son, Charles Miller, came to Richmond, and a few years later, sent for his mother, so presumably, she lived in Richmond also. Her eldest daughter married and remained in West Bend. Her son, William settled in Washington DC. Date of death is hard to make out, looks like 18 Mar 1889 (Notes MRS)
