TOD: Mary (Rubey) Lang Source unknown 1962 The daughter of a pioneer Burnstown Township couple, Mrs. Joseph Lang, died Saturday at Comfrey Hospital. She was 75 and had been hospitalized for 17 days. The former Mary Rubey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Rubey, was born in Burnstown township seven miles north of Comfrey. A brother and three sisters still live there, Ludwig, Catherine, Ida and Frances. Married at Springfield in 1910, the Lang's farmed 4 and a half miles north of Comfrey until 1947 when they retired to Comfrey. A son Norbert, lives on the home farm. A daughter, Mrs. Victor (Florence) Wannarka resides in Comfrey. There are five grandchildren. Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Catholic Church. Visitation is from 2 p.m. Monday at Hoyt Funeral Home, Comfrey. Rosary by the Christian Mothers Society and St, Mary's Auxiliary will be 3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Lang was a member of both organizations. Parish rosary will be 8:30 p.m. Monday.
