In 1986, the dairy farm was still in the family and operated by grandson Robert Schamburek. (Son of Clara Meidl and John W. Schamburek). When Blasius retired, he and Margaret stayed on the original homestead. The Schamburek (Zamborik) dairy farm was located next to the Meidl homestead.
