He was born 6 July, 1907 to the late Michael Sr and Theresa Meyer Meidl of Whitelaw. He married Viola Heinrich on 6 Jul 1927 at St Joseph Catholic Church, Silver Lake. Survivors include three sons, Norbert Meidl, Michael Meidl and James Meidl, all of Manitowoc; one daughter, Nancy Ann Meidl at home; three brothers, Louis Meidl, Whitelaw, John Meidl, Weyauwega, and Alphonse, Manitowoc; three sisters, Mrs Michael Reimer and Mrs Louis Zipperer of Cato, Mrs Joseph Sittman
