TOD: OBIT - MHTR - Mary Grall Staudinger - from Agnes Birringer 9/91 and 1/01 Mrs Mary Staudinger, 86, of 951 McArthur Drive, Manitowoc died Tuesday evening (15 October, 1968) at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and 11 a.m. at St Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Very Rev Clement P Kern will officiate and burial will be in St Michael Church Cemetery, Whitelaw, Wis. The former Mary Grall was born 1 June, 1882, in the Town of Cato, Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Anton and Mary Lemberger Grall of Whitelaw. She was married Nov 16, 1904, to John Staudinger at St Michael Catholic Church, Whitelaw. She was a lifelong resident of Manitowoc County and an honorary member of the Christian Mothers Altar Society of St Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Survivors include two sons, John Jr., and Reinhart of Manitowoc; six daughters; Mrs Emil Kummer, Mrs Elmer Rodney, Mrs Paul Fricke, Mrs Lawrence Waskow, and Mrs Norbert Schleis, all of Manitowoc; and Mrs William Pietras of Two Rivers; a sister, Mrs Joseph Kohlbeck of Marshfield; 24 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home where at 7 p.m. the Rosary will be recited by the Christian Mothers Society and members of the parish.
