TOD: "OBIT", Manitowoc Herald-Times, Friday, July 17, 1956 - Mrs Ann Larson Joseph Pritzl, 83, of 118 Pine Street, Brillion, a retired carpenter, died Thursday afternoon in a Green Bay hospital after falling a few weeks ago and suffering a fractured hip. Funeral will be 9 a.m. Monday from the Luecker Funeral Home, Brillion, with a solemn requiem mass at 9:30 a.m. at St Mary Catholic Church, Brillion celebrated by a brother Rev. Alfred Pritzl, assisted by four nephews; Rev. Peter Pritzl and Rev. Hubert Kleiber, DePere, Rev. Richard Kleiber, Green Bay and Rev. John Pritzl, Fairchild, Wis. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr Pritzl was born in Branch, Wis. September 5, 1872, son of the late Mr & Mrs Wolfgang Pritzl, who in 1878, moved his family to a farm in Brillion. Mr Pritzl married Margaret Brey, September 20, 1898 and lived near Greenleaf for 13 years. He moved back to the homestead farm in Brillion for 13 years and in 1924 moved into Brillion where he was a carpenter until he retired 5 years ago. He is survived by: his wife; two sons, Benjamin of Two Rivers and Joseph of DePere; four daughters, Mrs Leonard Lehman of Brentwood, Mo, Mrs Robert York of McHenry, Ill., Mrs Lee Jutrash, Chicago and Mrs Frances Shazane of Waukegan; six brothers, Rev. Alfred Pritzl of Manitowoc, Frank, Marshfield, Charles and Adolph of Brillion, Tony of Denmark, Wis. and John of Chowchilla, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs Frank Kleiber, Manitowoc, Mrs Joseph Kleiber, Brillion and Mrs John Ecker, Green Bay and 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
OBIT - Appleton Post-Cresent - Joseph W Pritzl - fr. Ray Pritzl - 2/97 BRILLION MAN DIES AFTER FALL - Joseph Pritzl, 83, Slipped on Ice at Home 2 Weeks Ago. Brillion - Joseph Pritzl, retired carpenter, 118 Pine Street, died Thursday afternoon in Green Bay, from complications suffered after a fall on the ice at his home two and a half weeks ago. He was born Sept. 5, 1873(2) in Branch, Manitowoc, County and has lived in the immediate area since 1878. His brother, the Rev Alfred Pritzl, pastor of St Boniface Catholic church, Manitowoc, will conduct services at 9:30 Monday morning at St Mary Catholic church, Brillion. Assisting will be four nephews and the Rev Raymond Schauer, resident pastor. The nephews include the Rev Richard Kleiber, Green Bay, the Rev Peter Pritzl and the Rev Hubert Kleiber, DePere, and the Rev John Pritzl, Fairchild. The rosary will be recited at 7 o'clock Sunday night and at 8 o'clock at the Leucker Funeral Home, Brillion. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 o'clock Saturday night. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Margaret; two sons, Benjamin, Two Rivers, and Joseph, DePere; four daughters, Mrs Leonard Lehman, Brentwood, Mo., Mrs Robert York, McHenry, Ill, Mrs Lee Jutrash, Chicago, and Mrs Francis Shasame, Waukegan, Ill; six brothers, Frank of Marshfield, Charles and Adolph of Brillion, Tony of Denmark, John of Chowchilla, Cal., and the Rev Alfred Pritzl, Manitowoc; three sisters, Mrs Frank Kleiber, Manitowoc, Mrs Joseph Kleiber, Brillion, and Mrs John Ecker, Green Bay; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
