TOD: OBITUARY from "Marshfield News Herald" October 26, 1958Wm. Buckley Dies at Age 63Rites Wednesday At Sacred Heart ChurchWilliam J. Buckley, 63, S. Cherry Ave., died Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital of complications. Funeral services are set for Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The Rev. L. H. Timmerman will officiate and burial will be made in Hillside cemetery. The American Legion will perform military rites.The body will lie in state at the Rembs Funeral Home beginning this evening at 7 p.m. A general roary will be recited Tuesday at 8 p.m.Mr. Buckley was born Oct. 8, 1895, in Chicago, Ill., and received his education there. He came to Marshfield at the age of 17 and worked for the Blodgett Cheese and Armour Companies. He was a veteran of World War I, having enlisted on July 23, 1918. For the past 19 years he had been employed by the Roddis Plywood Corporation.He was married on Oct. 7, 1930 at St. Paul, Minn., to Lillian Leicht, who survives him.Survivors also include two sons, James E. Buckley, Stillwater, Okla.; Bill Buckley, at home; one daughter, Marsha Buckley, at home; one grandchild, Mark Edmund Buckley; one sister, Mrs. John Ryan, Chicago, Ill.; to brothers, Michael and Robert Buckley, both of Chicago, Ill.NOTES:Born somewhere on South Halsted Street according to Bill Buckley.DOCUMENTS ON FILE:Headstone Photo
