GEBURT: On the 1920 census, Franciska states she emigrated in 1867, the same year as her brother and sister. However, she is not found on the same ship's log and is not found on elsewhere. There is a record of a Franciska Forster emigrating in 1873 who is the age she would have been but it is not known if it is she. She married John Raple, a widower with five children. They owned a dairy farm in Wisconsin but moved from there because of the high incidence of TB. When John died, he was buried in Wisconsin but she remained in Andale, KS. She is buried next to her daughter.
