Weyrich Rudisile and his family went 13 May 1737 to Pensylvania. Weyrich and family arrived in Philadelphia on 30 Aug 1737 aboard the ship Samuel, where he signed the oath of renunciationto European authorities as Weirich Rutsieli. He resided in York PA until about 1754, when Weyrich and his son Philipp Jakob were granted land in Lincoln Co., NC.Oral family history statesthat Weyrich's wife, Barbara, died in York before the move to North Carolina. On May 20 1754 he recieved a land grant for 200 acres in Anson County, at the upper reaches of Hoyles Creek, where he stayed the rest of his life.
