SERVICES FOR MR. HONIGFORD
Held Tuesday Morning In Ottoville Church
Funeral services for John H. Honigford Sr. of two miles northeast of Ottoville, were held Tuesday morning at nine o'clock in the Immaculate Conception Church at Ottoville. Mr. Honigford passed away at his home Saturday morning at two-twenty o'clock.
He had been ill for some time and eight months ago submitted to an operation at St. Vincent's hospital, Toledo, and a month later underwent a Second operation at St. Rita's hospital Lima.
Mr. Honigford was born on a farm northwest of Ottoville on January 17, 1863, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Barney Honigford. He was seventy-eight years of age. On October 17, 1893, he was married at Ottoville to Miss Anna Eberle. He spent all of his life in the vicinity of Ottoville.
He is survived by his wife; five sons, John Jr., Ben, Clement, and Joseph, all of near Ottoville, Gilbert, at home: two daughters Mrs. Mary Weber, of near Ottoville, and Mrs. Sabina Miller, Cloverdale, and twenty-eight grandchildren. Two brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
Rev. Henry Gerwert pastor of the Ottoville church officiated the last rites, and internment was made in the parish cemetery.
