Ihr Ehemann war schon tot, als ihr Haus am Bäckerberg am 20.4.1944 mit Brandbomben ausgebomt wurde (Hitlers Geburtstag). Christel, Ellen und Erna Dittmann waren an dem Tag dort zu Besuch aus Berlin, da sie dachten, an Hitlers Geburtstag wird immer Berlin bebomt, und sie wären in Stettin sicherer.
Elise Bischoff, verheiratete Dittmann, ist dann nach Penkun gegangen.
