Immigrated ti America on the ship "William" and arrived in Philadelphia on 31 Oct 1737.
It is not known whether Matthias' wife's maiden name was Sipes or Wilson. Judith is named as his widow but he it is also possible that at one time, he was married to Cynthia Tassens.
In 1760 Matthias was the administrator of the estate of Andrew Kissinger in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, leaving $840.69.
Matthias was naturalized on 11 Sep 1765 in Frederick County, Maryland.
