Said in the 1910 census that he migrated in 1882. He was born in Austria. His father and mother were also from Austria. At that time the Austrian kingdom included present day Hungary (1867 - 1918).
He immigrated in 1882 and was naturalized in 1891. (1920 cencus)
In later life, particularelly in his 1920 census response, he states his name to be Moriss.
He was listed in the Leadville City Directory from 1884 on.
Morris (Mario) Mankuso. He filled out the 1900 census in Leadville where he lives with his wife Dora and the children Fannie (Aug. 1885), Theresa (July 1889), Essie (Oct. 1893) and Izzie (Dec. 1895). In that census he states that he immigrated in 1883, not 1882 as stated in the other census reports. Dora came in 1880. They state that in 1900 they were married 17 years. That would put the marriage year to 1883, the year he came over. (Must have been love at first sight.)
