Katinka sailed from Southampton on September 17, 1923 and arived at the Port of Quebec on 22nd day of September 1923 on the Vessel "Great Briain" She was issued Canadian Citizenship Certificate # 92504 Series A on November 24, 1950, she took oath of Allegiance on January 26, 1951. She was coming to Canada as per an arranged marriage agreement as she was supposed to marry a saw mill owner from Edson. This arrangement fell apart as the person who set it up had a argument with the future groom. This same so called marriage broker then set up the marriage with George Wagner. She never really enjoyed her marriage.
