Notizen zu dieser Person
When he died on August 1507 the Head of the Council Hieronymus I Schürstab there was only one candidate for succession to the smaller Council. It was Franz I (d. 1517), whose brother Hans VI retired in 1488 from the city government. [16] Not until 1506 did he marry Barbara Francis Tetzel (died 1530) and in the course of their marriage had six children. Because of the two deaths in the family Franz I was accepted in1508 as a younger mayor to the Council. He was confirmed in office and in 1514 and 1511 was chosen as guardian Lord. His financial circumstances were not the best, so he sold the mansion in Behringersdorf in 1514, to Tucher, which was in the family for four generations. Only two years later he died. In the last year of belonging to the smaller council Franz I, sat in the Council Chamber with his nephew Leo (1488-1559) to whose first name was the same as the old Schürstab. [17] He was the only ministerial candidate of his lineage, at the beginning of the 16th Century, three lines flourished. It is very remarkable that they made him a councilman after his father had committed a serious felony. Heinrich (died 1492) was the middle of the three brothers Hans VI and Franz I and in 1488 married Katherine Imhoff (1469-1530), daughter of the wealthy Hans IV Imhoff. Due to this connection the famous Adam Kraft painted his coat of arms and that of Katharina in the years 1493 to 1496 at the Tabernacle in the Lorenz Church. It was donated by Hans IV Imhoff, who commissioned the coats of arms of the family including those of the spouses of their children and was attach at the tracery parapet wall.
