Er wird 1633 zum 1ten mal auf dem Hof genannt, muß aber vor 1629 geheiratet haben, den Hof aber um 1632 übernommen haben, denn der Vater Claus Wichern wird noch 1632/33 ebd erwähnt. Am 10.12.1665 wird Johann bei Patenschaft des Sohnes Claus (der auch als Bruder von Johann dem Hoferben genannt wird) selig genannt. 1648 in den Rtbg Amtsgeldrechnungen(Michaeliszinß) / 1646 in der Contributions- rolle zu Westervesede /um 1650 im Abgabenverz. des Ksp Scheeßel als Halbhöfner und Herrenmeyer / 1641 im Geld-und Kornregister des Amtes / 1633, 1636, 1638, 1640 im Michaeliszinß / 1652 und 1653 im Kornregister / 1664 im Hofschweineverz. zusammen mit Joachim Dittmer von No.6 zu Westervesede genannt.
