Er wird 1554 im 16 Pfennigschatz zu Helvesiek genannt, und ihm folgt der 1576 genannte Johann Miesner der Junge, wohl sein Sohn. Clauß scheint von MIESNERSHOF No.4 zu stammen, dessen Wirt 1554 Johann Miesner hieß, wohl der Bruder war. Beide Höfe sind nachweißlich aus der Teilungeinem Vollhof vor 1554 hervorgegangen,dann und wurden als Halbhöfe weiterbetrieben. 1555-59 und 1560 im Schatzregister, 1560 auch im Pflugschatz erwähnt.
