John F. Honigford, 69, Ottoville, died at 1:30 Wednesday morning in his home. He had been in failing health in recent months.
Born February 6, 1896, he was the son of John and Anna Eberle Honigford. He was married to Theresa Weber who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Orsila) Miller of Delphos and Mrs. Cyril (Anna
Marie) Kahle, route 4, Ottawa; five sons, Urban and Walter of Delphos, Alfred and Victor of Ottoville and Roger at home; 27 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Frank (Mary) Weber of Ottoville and Mrs. Otto (Sabina) Miller of Columbus Grove; and four brothers, Ben , Clem, Joseph, and Gilbert, all of Ottoville.
Mr. Honigford a retired farmer, was a veteran of World War 1. He was a member of the VFW at Ottoville, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Ottoville and the Holy Name Society.
Requiem High Mass will be at 9:30 Saturday morning in the church with Msgr. J. F. Frommherz as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday morning by the VFW.
