The April 2, 1930 Albany, NY Federal Census (2nd Ward, Block 52S, ED 1-7,Sheet 1B, Lines 87-95) said William BURGER was 27 years old and employedas an Auto Mechanic. His wife, Anna M., was also 27 years old. Both ofthem had been married at the age of 19. Their children: William, age 7;Roy, age 5; Iva, age 4 years, 2 months; Ruth, age 2 years, 10 months;Theodore, age 1 year, 2 months; twins Anna M. and Mary A., both age 7months. The family lived at 231 Second Ave, right next door to the YAKELfamily.

Teddy was a piano tuner and called himself "Teddy Adam Theodore BURGER".His first name was probably Adam, but he preferred Teddy. He was alsoknown as "BEE". Teddy played piano very well, and liked honky-tonkstyle. He used to tune the piano for Jackie Gleason in Florida. Teddychanged his religion to Jewish because Marsha was Jewish.
