BIOGRAPHY: Based on testimony of Darlene Jung Gillette: Dr. Glauner movedaround the U.S. frequently, taking his practice with him. He recievedhis education in medicine in Illinois, where he presumably met his firstwife, Clara Sarver. They married and settled in Marine, Madison County,Illinois, where he opened a practice out of his home. He and Clara hadtwo children. When Clara died as a result of her third pregnancy, heleft Illinois with his two children, Mary Juanita and Helen Elizabeth,eventually settling in, McAllen, Hidalgo County, TX. He had previouslymet and married a nurse named, Grace Morgan, they had two more children,Margery Jeanne and Janice Gail. He then was to move his family again, atsome point landing in Ohio, where they had their last child, FrederickWilliam. The family moved to several other locals, one of which was, SanAntonio, Bexar County, TX, where, Mary Juanita, was to eventually settle.Dr. Glauner practiced in many places some of which included: Marine, IL;Topeka, KS; McAllen, TX, San Antonio, TX. At one time in his career, heis reported to have worked as a physician for the Southern PacificRailroad, and in a hospital in Topeka, Kansas. He was 72 yrs. old.
BIOGRAPHY: From a book by, Katherine Borchers Cotner, 1985: "Fred taughtschool in Hancock County, Ohio. He was a graduate of Hanoman MedicalSchool in Chicago, Illinois. Later he specialized in the eye, ear, noseand throat, studying in Berlin, Germany and Vienna, Austria. For anumber of years he practiced in San Antonio, Texas, Columbus, Ohio andTopeka, Kansas."
