  STETTNER_ John Arthur passed away peacefully with his family by his side on December 2, 2007 in Regina SK at the age of 86 years. John leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 60 years, Valerie; children Archie (Marian), David (Wanda), Gary, Jon (Connie) and Ron (Lise); stepson David (Brenda) MacDougall; 21 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters Dan, Albert (Evelyn), Bill (Elizabeth), Herb (Jackie) and Eileen (George) Sebastian; sister-in-law Virginia; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He had served in the Army during WWII. John worked for over 25 years at the University/Darke Hall and enjoyed his retirement of 28 years to the fullest. The family wishes to thank the attending Paramedics, Shannon and staff of the CCU, Regina General Hospital, Father John and Kevin and staff at the Regina Funeral Home. A PRAYER SERVICE will be held at St. Nicholas Romanian Orthodox Church, 1770 St. John Street, Regina, SK S4P 1R7 on Wednesday, December 5, 2007at 7:00 p.m. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Thursday, December 6, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. INTERMENT will be held at Regina Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of John may be made to the St. Nicholas Romanian Orthodox Church or a charity of one's choice. Family and friends are invited to sign a book of condolences online atwww.reginamemorial.ca. Arrangements are entrusted to Regina Funeral Home.
