OnJune 8, 1924 he was baptized upon confession of his faith and wasreceived into membership of thc Bethesda Mennonite Church in Hendersonby Rev. H.H. Epp. He became a member of the E.M.B. Church in MountainLake in 1952. He was united in marriage to Helen B. Friesen on April14, 1926 at Henderson, Nebraska. After their marriage, they farmed atHampton, Nebraska for 15 years. In 1941 they moved to Salix, Iowawhere he farmed and also worked for the Cudahay Packing Plant for 11years. In 1952 they moved to Mountain Lake where he worked for thecity and other various jobs retiring in 1963. Isaac had suffered froma heart condition for the past 13 years. He passed away suddenly athis home on Wednesday morning, May 31, 1978 and attained the age of 76years, 1 month and 10 days. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife,Helen; one daughter, lirs. Wi11ic (Eunice) Wall of MOuntain Lake; oneson, Allen of Portland, Oregon; seven grandchildren, one greatgrandchild. He is also survived by four sisters, Mrs. Ben (Katherine)Ratzlaff of Mountain Lake; Mrs. William (Anna) Peters; Mrs. AgnesCantrell and Mrs. Aron (Helen) Thieszen, all of Henderson, Nebraska;one brother, Abe Epp of York, Nebraska and other relatives andfriends. He was preccded in death by his parents, four brothers andtwo sisters.
