Qualified Sept. 26, 1737]. Schnauber was anglicized toSnover in 1764. He worked as a miller and he was a master miller in 1727. Later in1734 he was a Muskateer in the Churpfalz region. Johanes and his wife,Anna Eliz., had six children born to them in Pfungstadt, Germany,before migrating to America. The family came to Phila. in the shipAndrew Galley, landing 26 Sept. 1737. They later removed from Phila. to Stillwater, NJ; they were naturalizedthere on 13 Feb. 1764." He and his wife "are both buried in the oldsection of the Stillwater Presbyterian Church Cemetery, formerly theReformed Lutheran Church of Hardwick."
