2009 09 I actually am from the Indiana folk and was born 1949... father Robert E. Ahlf (b. 1920), son of Gustav (b. 1888), son of Heinrich(b. 1821)... Interestingly enough I saw a Stephan Ahlf in facebook and sent a message saying that I used the v instead of the ph, and that there was another Steven Ahlf out in California that at some times in the past won fishing contests... he replied 1 15 2013 Correction on Steven R Ahlf . He is living in Mechanicsburg, PA. I t was a confusing notation.
