Herr zu Broek (Limburg/NL), durch Heirat auch Herr von Visschersweerth und Spaubeck (Limburg/NL). Von 1375 bis 1376 und von 1394 bis 1404 Schultheiß des Herzogs von Brabant zu Maastricht und Lenculen. 1388 mit Inghenbroek belehnt. Erbaut 1360 bis 1368 die Burg Hoensbroek (Limburg/NL). 1375 mit 29 anderen Leuten zum Garanten des Landfriedens zwischen Maas und Rhein ernannt (AL Sibilla Schleicher)
Kämpfte 1371 in der Schlacht bei Baesweiler. Wird 1376 anlässlich der Krönung von König Wenceslaus genannt. Am 26.10.1388 wurde Hoensbroeck von Heerlen abgetrennt und von der Herzogin Johanna von Brabant zu einer freien Herrschaft, lehnsrührig vom Haus Brabant, erklärt. 1388 wird er mit Inghenbroeck und Haus Spaubeck belehnt. 1397 als noch lebend genannt (AL Quetting)
